Although the website is new to Pine Valley Gundogs, we are not new to hunting dogs. We started with our first German Shorthaired Pointer back in 1980 and our first pair of beagles in 1983. Since then we have grown to more than two dozen adult hunting dogs. I would like to give you a brief summary of what we offer at Pine Valley Gundogs, even during our ongoing website construction period. ;^) We are a licensed commercial kennel in Lapeer County, Michigan and also an NKC licensed kennel. Pine Valley Gundogs not only sells puppies and started dogs but also offers a puppy starting pen for young beagles. We are a Tri-tronics training collar dealer and Hi-Standard dog food dealer. We offer the AKC CAR (American Kennel Club Companion Animal Recovery) microchip system. Pine Valley Gundogs is also your outlet for affordable leads and dog collars with brass nameplates. We feel that ground shipping is the safest way of transporting your new puppy and that service is available to you at an affordable price. BEAGLES All of our dogs are both double registered AKC and NKC/ARHA or single registered NKC/ARHA (my old hunting bloodline). From time to time, we have started dogs for sale, and occasionally a limited number of running dogs. I will be adding information on individual dogs for sale, as they become available and as my time allows. Please contact us and let me know what type of beagle you are looking for and I will give you an honest answer whether or not our line of beagles will fill your needs. We have mostly tri-color beagles, but past litters have included a number of chocolates, reds and blue tick colors. GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTERS During the 2010 breeding season, we will be offering our double registered AKC & NKC German Shorthaired Pointer puppies from our young GSP dams. All of our bird dogs are proven hunters in the field before being considered for breeding stock. That is only one part of the equation for a sound breeding program. Prior to being bred, all of our breeding age GSP's have had their hips and elbows OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certified to be sure that your GSP puppy will not suffer from any genetic medical problems, such as hip dysplasia. Our goal here at Pine Valley Gundogs is to offer you a healthy puppy that you can mold into your hunting companion for many years to come.
